Trendy Confessions for Majalah Perempuan

They say there’s always a first time to everything and to me, this is one of those first times: Modeling for a magazine’s fashion spread.

This is a fashion spread for Majalah Perempuan (January 2012 issue) with clothing by popular Malaysian-based online plus-size boutique Trendy Confessions (www.trendyconfessions.com).

Crazy stuff this was but it was a lot of fun! Thanks a lot to the Fong sisters Jiar Yi and Jiar Hwei as well as Majalah Perempuan’s writer Zainal Afnan for giving me this opportunity to model for the magazine. I hope you’re satisfied with my amateur poses.

Love the clothes? Go here and get yours: www.trendyconfessions.com —- fellow plus-sizers, this is definitely the online shop for you!

Yay! It has been a while since I last posted my daily outfit photos. And now here goes. Something quite straight forward, minimalist and yet I quite like the way I dressed up to work earlier today. And yes, that shoe, it’s like a platform sneaker inspired by Nike or something. Bought it yesterday.

What I Wore Yesterday

Patterned sheer white blouse from Cotton On, skinny jean from Dorothy Perkins, headscarf from Bonita, shoe from Vincci, bag from Urban Outfitters.

Damn! It really has been a while… hurm, so much for the commitment Nazz.

Anyway, this is a super lame video of me singing Frank Ocean’s Thinking About You. Let me warn you, I’m no good singer and this is just a lousy attempt to make it on You Tube (LOL) and I obviously failed miserably.

Give it a try if you like to see how I made such a fool of myself.

;)

4.27 am and I’m finally home.
Am glad that editing of MY packages are finally done. Earlier than usual for a Thursday/Friday. Haven’t got home this early for a Thurs/Fri for the past few weeks. Gotta say this is an achievement.
I’m going home to my parents’ place at Batu Pahat later tonight. Or maybe on Saturday morning. Looking forward to it.

I never thought I’d say this. But I think I’m starting to fall in love with the world of broadcasting. And this is not good. Not good.

—Though stuck in such a badly-administered/managed broadcasting institution in the country and the insane workload and inflexible working schedule; I must say that I am in love with writing scripts for TV, the perks of being a member of the press/media, the editing process (in which I’m starting to be pretty good at), producing, having an intern (not to bully but to share what I’ve learned with) and… being in front of the camera. ;D

Hah! I just transferred these pictures from my Bloggie… snapshots of a segment for one of BernamaTV’s program called “FYI” in which I was the feature of this segment. The segment was done by Hana in which they followed me shopping around Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman in the hunt for the best tudung/head scarf.

The episode have been transmitted around two weeks ago. I need to get Hana to get me a soft copy so I could post it on You Tube. This should be good for portfolio too ;)

Yes, finally. A daily update on my daily outfit. Well, this is what I wore to work today. Boring stuff. I must have donned this look a few times before… with that same old dress and that same old oxford wedge heel. But what to do, I’m broke and I can’t purchase any new outfit no more. :(
